Choosing the right size

Choosing your child's shoe size is crucial for their comfort and growth. Discover some easy steps to accurately measure your child's foot and ensure they choose the right size.

How to properly measure your child's foot?

Step 1: Prepare the materials

Before you begin, gather what you need to measure your child's feet:

  • A sheet of paper
  • A pencil
  • A rule
Step 2: Position the child’s foot

Place your child standing, barefoot, on the sheet of paper. Make sure that its weight is evenly distributed on both feet and that they are parallel to each other. This method is suitable for both babies and older children.

Step 3: Trace the ends of the foot and measure

With the pencil, draw a line at the end of the longest toe and another at the heel.

Remove the sheet and, using the ruler, measure the distance between the two lines. This measurement corresponds to the length of the foot, essential for choosing the right size.

Step 4: Refer to the size guide

Once the measurement has been taken, consult the pedimeter available on each product sheet. Shoo Pom shoe models all have a specific shape and fit. It is therefore important to check the corresponding guide to find the ideal size. Click on the “Discover the pedimeter” link for even more details.

Tips for choosing the right size

If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger size. This will provide your child with more comfort and extend the life of the shoes.
